Lloyd Sadd Insurance delivers services as the acting broker to the Northern Alberta area, through LANTA and the CNLA for the Hortprotect Program.

Hortprotect was developed by the CNLA to provide coverage to companies operating in the horticultural industry (e.g., landscaping contractors, grounds maintenance, and suppliers). Through the CNLA Insurance Committee (made up of association members and staff), products and pricing are closely monitored to ensure the horticultural industry receives the best possible insurance program.

Highlights of the program include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Discounted rate on contractors equipment (e.g., bobcats, skid steers, tractors)
• Pollution coverage for application of pesticides and/or herbicides
• Competitive auto rates for fleets over four vehicles (seasonal lay-up discounts are also available)
• Coverage for snow removal
