Integrity, entrepreneurial, and carefully planned growth is how Karen describes Lloyd Sadd where she has established her career in the insurance industry and exercised her multi-talents pursuing several different roles, including underwriter supervisor and personal lines broker, since 1987. As Director of Marketing, she enjoys mentoring new staff, business planning, and challenging the industry's standards and boundaries in everything she does. Karen has been actively involved in industry associations, including facilitator for IBAA courses, board member & President for the IINA, executive board member for IIC, and current education committee member for NARIMS. Karen has received her CCIB, CIP, and CRM designations. Volunteer activities include Youth Emergency Shelter, Canadian Heart & Stroke, and Special Olympics. Karen also enjoys spending time with her daughters, hiking, skiing, playing golf and volleyball, reading, and hanging out at the cottage.
