She was born and raised in Dawson Creek, B.C. and may have been on her way to being a teacher after receiving her Bachelor in Education from the University of Alberta; however, Patty decided to add CIP, CAIB, and CRM designations to her credentials and has mastered her skills as an insurance broker for construction risk services. She appreciates the level of responsibility that comes with a specialization in insurance. She has to know her own industry inside and out, as well as that of her clients in the construction industry, to stay on top of the issues they face. Outside of work, she exercises her multiple talents scrapbooking, painting, or putting a pen to paper to do some personal writing. She also volunteers her time to the Autism and MS Societies, and is devoted to her 6 am aquasize class and walking her two dogs, Mylo and Kasha.
