Cara Hawkins-Driscoll

Cara entered her career in Commercial Insurance after spending several years moulding young minds as a school teacher. Cara has been with Lloyd Sadd since 2009, initially working as an Account Manager and then Marketing Broker, focusing on Construction and Energy. Cara now leads Navacord’s commercial operations. An internal resource group providing Insurance Placement Services, detailed Audit and Risk Review Services, as well as Alternative Risk Transfer and Data & Analytics solutions.

Cara is a graduate of the University of Alberta with a Business & Technology major. Cara has also completed her CIP and CRIS (Construction Risk Insurance Specialist). Cara is a self-proclaimed insurance nerd and enjoys the ever-changing and evolving nature of our industry. Mentoring new members of our industry has become one of Cara’s favourite parts of her role. She also enjoys widening people’s opinions of insurance by explaining her role and responsibilities, and explaining the interesting risks and challenges she encounters.
