Lauren Van Vliet

Broker, Technical Risk Solutions

Lauren began her career with Lloyd Sadd in 2019, and it wasn’t long before she joined the Technical Risk Solutions team to broaden her knowledge and grow her career in commercial insurance.

In 2022, Lauren transitioned into the Broker position where she developed an interest in construction, contracting, and energy risks.  Her responsibilities include thorough analysis of various risk profiles and execution of strategic insurance placements to support clients in achieving their goals. With a background in customer relations and hospitality, Lauren enjoys making new connections and collaborating with others to get the job done. She is motivated to translate ideas into action and aims to deliver consistently superior results.

Prior to her work in the insurance industry, Lauren obtained her Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a major in International Business. She is committed to grow professionally through continued education and is currently working to complete her CAIB (Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker) designation.

Outside of work, Lauren spends her time travelling, doing CrossFit, and taking road trips to the mountains with her husband and their dog, Sonny.
