Robert Beeston

Director of Broking

Robert joined Lloyd Sadd as Director of Broking in 2017, having spent nine years in the senior broking leadership with a large global brokerage. He has been in the insurance industry for 29 years, spending over half that time specializing in commercial insurance, construction and contracting risk. In 2009, Robert received his CIP designation with Honors, finishing as runner-up top graduate in Alberta. Robert has built and overseen diverse multi-disciplinary broking practice teams across Canada, spending time in offices in Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Vancouver. Robert was first appointed as a Lloyds of London coverholder/correspondent in 2006. Outside of insurance, Robert has spent over 20 years as a volunteer coach and official with different local sports organizations, including over 15 years as a licensed basketball official for school and community leagues, and is an active contributing artist and director since 2017 for the St. Albert Dinner Theatre non-profit troupe in his hometown of St. Albert, Alberta.
